MS Dhoni scored 30 runs in his debut match held at Chennai. His final match of test career is against Australia completed today(Dec 26 – Dec 30).He have made 6 centuries and 33 half centuries in test career which holds 544 fours and 78 sixes with that. He also bowled 96 balls in 7 innings of test career and given 67 runs without picking any wicket. As a cricketer he played across all the positions as bowler, batsman, wicket-keeper and fielder.

But his test records as skipper away from home ground is not a good track. As skipper, he led 30 matches in which India won 6 matches, lost 15 matches and drawn 9 matches. Besides this, he stands as the most successful skipper in home ground and away from home ground. He has the win percentage of 70% and tops the list as skipper in home ground whereas Mohammed Azharuddin stands second with the win percentage of 65%. Dhoni also made 294 dismissals which includes 256 catches and 38 stumpings

MS Dhoni led India to Rank.1 in test cricket during 2009 which, India enjoyed over a long time till 2011 England tour. Considering away from test career, the most remarkable and memorable things he did is that, lifting the World T20 Championship during 2007 and World Cup Championship 2011. By lifting the World Cup Championship under his captaincy, he made 28 years wait of India to come true. Such a best captain of India MS Dhoni is retiring from Test cricket but will continue to stay in ODI and T20 matches. Will hope for lifting the World Cup Championship once again which is going to happen in 2015.
