Australia leads the series

Australia chased the target of 304 and marked its 2nd victory in the series. After a great chase by Indians in 2nd match, they lost their next match to Australia. Now Australia leads the series by 2-1. Still a great competition between no.1 and no.2 for the top position. 

In Australia tour of India 2013, the third ODI match took place yesterday  in Mohali and Australia won the match by 4 wcikets. Australia won the toss and elected to field first. Indians made 303/9 in 50 overs where the Indian Skipper made an outstanding score of 139. Australia marked their win after chasing 303. James Faulkner made the magic flick to mark their victory.

Indian Innings:

Dhoni and Kohli
The opening batsman who made an outstanding innings last match failed to make their way in this match. Virat Kohli who marked fastest 100 by an Indian in the last match, made a good score of 68. The skipper of Indian team made an outstanding batting undefeated and scored 139 runs and lifted India towards a good score. Finally Indian innings came to end for 303/9 in 50 overs. In Australian bowling side, Mitchell Johnson took 4 wickets whereas Clint Mckay, Shane Watson, James Faulkner and Gelnn Maxwell took 1 wicket each.

Australian Innings:


Australians came to crease with the target of 304. Philip Hughes and Aaron Finch were to the crease as openers. They stood together till 12 overs and made a decent score. Then the Australian skipper George Bailey made a good innings and scored 43 runs. Next to him, Adam Voges and James Faulkner marked the victory at the end. Voges played a good innings and scored 76 runs whereas Faulkner flicked off a great innings. Australia reached the target finally in 49.3 overs. In Indian bowling side, Vinay Kumar took 2 wickets whereas Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja took 1 wickets each.
