Hockey Asia Cup 2013, a Competitive End

In today's final, India lost the Hockey Asia Cup 2013 to South Korea. Its really a tough fight given by India against South Korea today. This final winning by India would have created a chance for India to be qualified directly for the World Cup to happen next year in Netherlands. India is really a tough team for South Korea to take, but they made it at the final. To be noticed, India had beat South Korea with 2-0 in the league match earlier.
The match began today and it was most expected by fans around the world. Both the teams played a defensive game at the beginning. About 20 minute later, Indian player Raghunath had got a chance to flick a goal but he couldn't make it. South Korea had defended it. As it looks more competitive, South Korean player Jang Jong Hyun had got a chance to make his flick and he made it. He recorded the first goal of the match and first goal of South Korea. The Indian players were in the situation to make their first goal. But unfortunately, in a minute South Korea recorded the second goal which put Indian players under more pressure. Second goal of the match and  of South Korea had been made by You Hyo Sik. Indian players were to equal the goals of South Korea before the first half. But the first half ended up with 2-0 where South Korea leads the match.

Second half began and Indian players were really need to mark their goals. Fortunately, Rupinderpal marks the first goal of Indian team. The goal had been made when India got the Second penalty chance. Then India marched forward by scoring the second goal in some more minutes. The second goal of India was made by Nikkin Thimmaiah at 55th minute. Now at this moment, India and South Korea are equal with 2-2. After that South Korea got two penality corners and a penality stroke and finally marked their third goal to lead the match. This third goal of South Korea had been made by Nam Hyun Woo.
Here again, India proved to be more competitive by making the series equal with 3-3 when Mandeep Singh made a hit at the 65 minute. In three more minutes later, at 68th minute South Korea hit and another goal to lead the match with 4-3. There the match ends with 4-3. Thus the most competitive match marked an end by making the South Korea to lift the Asia Cup for 4th time. India stayed as the runners for the 5th time.
