Virat Kohli top Indian in ICC rankings

Virat Kohli, Indian cricketer who has been nominated for Arjuna award now stands to be the highest-ranked Indian in ICC T20 ranking for batsman. He have completed his 5 years in International cricket on 18th August and stepped into 6th year with many records and massive performance. The ranking has been released today by ICC today and he holds sixth position in the ranking. He attained this position for the first time and stands in top10 rankings of ICC.

Next to Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina is the second Indian batsman in the top-10 list holding the position eight. Only these two Indian Batsman holds the place in top 10 ranking to prove themselves best at Twenty20. Yuvraj Singh stands at no.16 and being the third ranked Indian in the ranking.

But, Indian bowlers are expected to perform well because there is no Indian Bowlers in the top 10 ICC ranking for T20 bowling.R Ashwin, Off Spinner is the highest-ranked Indian bowler by holding the
th position in the ranking chart.

India stands at the top position in ODI rankings of ICC and holds position2 in Test rankings of ICC. But, holds the 3rd place in Twenty20. In T20 ranking, Sri Lanka holds the top position followed by Pakistan and India respectively. Pakistan aims to top the list in T20 with their T20 International series against Zimbabwe on August 23. Its a two T20 match series going to be held on 23 and 24 August respectively. Zimbabwe holds 12th position in ranking and they too ill try to move to the 11th position. Zimbabwe Spinner Prosper Utseya is the only bowler inside the top 10 ranking. He is holding the 9th place.
