December 29, is a black day which addresses the death of the delhi gang rape victim. The 23 year old gang-rape victim,was treated at Delhi Safdarjung hospital for 10 days and was shifted to Mount Elizabeth hospital in Singapore on 27th December breathed her last at 4:45 AM (2:15 AM India time) on 29th December.



Cardiac arrest happened and serious swelling occured in the brain which was the cause of the death.
Indian High Commission officials said, the chartered Air India plane AIC-380A ferrying the body took off around 12:30 AM local time (10:00 PM IST).

Congress president Sonia Gandhi says,
The accused will be given strong punishment and also see added, “Today all Indians grieve as though they had lost their own beloved daughter or sister",

Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar condoled the demise of Delhi gang-rape victim and said that the whole nation is proud of her as she has become a symbol of protest against sexual assault on women in the country.

This Mumbai had made the protest against this injustice by making a silent march from the Gandhi statue in Juhu Beach to Kaifi Azmi Park at 5.30 in the evening December 29. The movement has been initiated by veteran actress and social activist, Shabana Azmi and some celebrities took part in the protest.The protestors are wearing black bands on their foreheads and on their mouth.



A large number of people took part in the silent march to protest against the gang rape. Even in our Nation capital, a women has no security. Then where can we get the security? Where is our Government? Is the Government alive? Every Indian have these questions in their blood and veins. Many tweets says that the Republic day should not be celebrated because the Government is not alive. Raise your hands to make a law to protect women in this nation. This should never happen in our nation.
